Registration Information for 2024-2025

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

Pre-enrolment and registration update:

For the 2024 - 2025 school year, Kameyosek School is FULL in planned classes in Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3 in the Cogito program. We will no longer accept enrolment requests for these grade levels in this program.

If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online using any device that you use to access the internet. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.

IF YOU ARE REGISTERING YOUR CHILD FOR KINDERGARTEN PLEASE TYPE IN ON THE DIGITAL REGISTRATION FORM WHICH PROGRAM YOU WOULD LIKE TO ENROL YOUR CHILD IN FOR KINDERGARTEN. WE HAVE TWO KINDERGARTEN PROGRAMS AT KAMEYOSEK SCHOOL. EACH KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM IS A HALF DAY ONLY. THE REGULAR OR NON COGITO KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM IS IN THE MORNING. THE COGITO KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM IS IN THE AFTERNOON.

ALL REQUIRED FIELDS (HIGHLIGHTED IN YELLOW AND/OR MARKED WITH A RED ASTERISK) MUST BE COMPLETED AND YOU MUST HAVE A VAILD EMAIL ADDRESS OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SUBMIT THE DIGITAL STUDENT REGISTRATION FORM.

CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROLMENT

You will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens on February 1st, 2024 and ends on March 22nd, 2024.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR 2024-2025

Parents of new students, including students entering Kindergarten, are asked to register online for the 2024-2025 school year using a secure digital student registration form. Regular Kindergarten is only in the morning. Our Kindergarten Cogito program is only in the afternoon-we do not have a morning Kindergarten Cogito program. If your child is currently attending an Edmonton Public School, please wait until pre-enrolment is available to the parents on SchoolZone on February 1st, 2024.

The online form will be available on February 1, 2024 and can be completed using any device you use to access the internet.

Parents will also need to upload documents (please see Examples of Accepted Documentation for All Registrations for a list of acceptable documents) that help us confirm their child’s legal name, citizenship, birth date and home address using the online registration form.

EXAMPLES OF ACCEPTED DOCUMENTATION FOR ALL REGISTRATIONS:

Legal proof of student’s age and name

Canadian provincial birth certificate
Canadian citizenship document
Permanent Resident Card (front and back)
Canadian Passport

Confirmation of Address

driver's license
utility bill
home insurance
property tax bill

In some cases, immigration documents (e.g. landed immigrant documentation or a Permanent Residence Card) may also be required. Visit Citizenship and Immigration Canada for more information.
In some cases, you may be asked to provide more than one of the above.

If you cannot register online you can download/print the registration form, fill in all the information fields on the registration form for your child and bring the completed registration form (don't forget to date and sign the form) including the required copies of legal proof of student's name and age and address documents to Kameyosek School.

CONFIRMING REGISTRATION SUBMISSION:

Once you have submitted your completed student registration form and supporting documents, we will review all of the documents. This does not mean your child has been enrolled at the school—we will contact you to let you know once your child is enrolled.
