Regular Programs

Kameyosek offers Kindergarten to Grade 6 programming.  At all grades, language arts is taught utilizing strategies from the Balanced Literacy Program, 6 + 1 Write Traits and other Best Practices.  Mathematics instruction includes number skills, problem-solving, and higher level thinking, moderate, and severe special needs students are fully integrated into regular classroom settings and teacher support is provided.  Student behaviour and conduct with an emphasis on student responsibility is monitored closely and consistently.  Technology supports learning and teaching.  Leadership opportunities for students are encouraged.
